One Door Down

One Door Down is an excellent addition to the Miner Street shopping and dining scene! We love the laid back atmosphere to enjoy a coffee or cocktail. The selection of new releases and classic books is great for local book lovers and visitors alike.

I sought this bookstore out specifically, while in Idaho Springs. It’s very cute and has a decent selection of best sellers. While there, though, there was only one employee trying to bounce between working the Deli next door and taking coffee orders in the bookshop; she was overwhelmed, to say the least. I felt more like a burden than a customer while ordering some coffees for my husband and myself. I wanted to buy some books toward the end of my browse, but didn’t want to deal with feeling like I was putting anyone out. Probably won’t be back...
