Coastal Academy High School

This school started off incredible with a great staff to student ratio as well as tutors available to help on assignments at no cost. It created a homeschool environment, but with the ability to socialize with friends. It was a nice balance that really made this school stand out from all others. However, things quickly turned for the worst as new “management” was introduced and made the school how it is now. Coastal Academy High has lost the values it once stood for. New rules were introduced without any input from students, concerns about new policies were overlooked and pushed aside, and ended up creating an environment much like a government. At this point, it only seems they care more about quantity of students over quality of education. Aside from this, I had three teachers that really stood out during my two years there. So, this isn’t a teacher problem, it’s a management problem. I wish the best for anyone that goes there and hope the school realizes the impact of their actions.

Mrs. Bartrom, Principal of the school is dynamic and a true leader. I have never seen a Principal as dedicated to her students and staff as she is. She is the power behind the school and takes a great interest in her students and listens to their heartbeat in understanding how they tick and how they learn. Amazing strength!

I really like this school so much! It is really fun! I always have fun! This is the best school every!

This school is l.i.t.nA truely transformative learning experience. If I had to choose between this school and eating a California burrito, I would choose this school Everytime. 5/5 would school again
