Jason Petillo of Advanced Home Repairs in Inglewood CA was assigned my toilet installation job by Handy Technologies, Inc., the company used by Lowe's Home Improvement to arrange installations. On the morning the job was scheduled, a few minutes before the end of the service window I was given, I received a call from Jason saying that he was running late, but would arrive between noon and 1:00. No problem. At about 3:30, I received a message from Jason through the Handy app, saying he was running late and would contact me when he was on his way. I never heard back, even in reply to a text message.nnThe next day, I telephoned Handy and explained the situation. I had already responded to their text and email saying there was a problem. On the call, I was assured that Jason would call me, and in any event, he would arrive for the job between 10:00 am and noon.nnAs you may have guessed, Jason was never heard from again. Don't get strung along by this unreliable man.
Replaced new toilet, for broken toilet. The boys arrived wearing their masks. They did a great job. Very respectful and through. Kept me informed of their arrival time.
Jason and his employees are outstanding. I’ve been looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy handyman since my last contact moved away from the area. Jason was easy to get in touch with, great about communication, and very reliable. He updated me regularly and arrived within the window he gave me. His company installed and fixed everything I asked of them in less than 3 hours. They are efficient, dependable, and genuinely nice people. Easy 5 star review, and I have high standards.
