I was a patient of Dr Napolitano who is the son of Richard Napolitano who runs Precision Craft Dental Lab. In early 2019 Dr Napolitano asked me if I would consider being a volunteer/patient for a surgical demonstration/training that would be held at his father’s dental lab ( Precision Craft Dental Lab). He explained that a company ( Biohorizons) which makes dental implants would extract my upper teeth and place 4 implants all for Free. The only cost to me was $14,000.00 for the final/permanent bridge which his father would make. I had had a beautiful ceramic bridge and I know they are expensive so the price seemed reasonable so I agreed. In June of 2019 I went to Precision Craft Dental Lab in Smithfield where the surgery was performed. Biohorizons sent two doctors from California and had a dental anesthesiologist who did an excellent job. There were about 40 dental professionals watching the procedure because it was a training. I had to wait and let my implants heal before I was able to get my ( $14,000.00) permanent bridge. Richard Napolitano my dentist’s father who runs Precision Craft Dental Lab came to talk to me before making my bridge. At this time I asked him what material he was going to use to make my bridge and his answer was “ I haven’t decided” I thought this strange because he has been doing this for 40 years. In September 2020 I finally got my permanent bridge. At this time I asked Dr Napolitano what material his father used to make my bridge and he stated he did not know but would find out for me. Again I found this strange because Dr Napolitano told me he worked in his fathers lab since he was young. The bridge was very pretty but since day one it has always felt rough not smooth like my other ceramic bridge. Fast forward to February 2021 just 5 months after my $14,000.00 bridge is put in I notice a small chip on my front tooth. It was at this point I called Dr Napolitano office and asked the receptionist to call the lab and find out exactly what material was used on my bridge, she called me back, left me a message and said they used something called PMMA. I began to research PMMA and everything I found called it an acrylic material mostly used for Temporary Prosthetics. So I made 3 dentist appointments. I asked the first dentist how much it would cost to make me another bridge just like the one I have. He stated $5,800.00. The second dentist stated that what I have is what he uses as a temporary while making a Permanent ceramic bridge. He stated Permanent bridges should be made out of a ceramic material and said he uses Zirconia and that is what I should have gotten for $14,000.00 not a cheap acrylic. I went to a third dentist who also said what I have in my mouth is a cheap acrylic which is why my tooth is flaking/chipping. He gave me a price of $12,500.00 for a quality Zirconia bridge. So then I asked for a copy of my dental bill and I notice that back in June 2019 when Dr Napolitano asked for the first $7,000.00 June 3 he put on my bill $7,600.00 to surgically place implants which of course he never did. They were done for free by Biohorizons for Free. When Dr Napolitano first asked me if I would be interested in volunteering for the dental surgery he stated the only way you can get into this program is through me so I paid $14,000.00 for a bridge, got one that is worth $6,000.00 and will not last very long so I guess the other $8,000.00 is his referral fee. Dr Napolitano will treat you so very nice as long as he knows he is making money from you. In my opinion he is only in it for the money and cares nothing about his Patients. I have reported him to the RI dental board and the Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Unit because I am 69 years old and feel like I have been financially exploited. Hopefully they will do something to stop him from grossly overcharging anyone else.

I'm a dentist who used Precision Craft for a very complicated case on my toughest patient. Ryan and his lab take the time to make sure everything is done properly and stand behind their work. Thank you!

After extreme surgical work and years in the making my upper and lower dentures were made and were great, at first. They click on to full mouth implants. After sinus lift, cadaver and cow bone implanted, one year before I could chew, finally well worth the agony.nnProblem...the teeth keep falling out! I have gone to lab several times to get repairs. They have come out after biting into pizza, a cookie, corn on the cob lost 2 front teeth, frozen desert and many more.nnAfter all the surgeries and not to mention what all this cost I would expect to have dentures that could handle the new chewing power...NOT.nnSo I am now looking for a lab that has the know how for dentures able to handle Fifty thousand, plus, plus dollars worth of implants.nnOne last note, I carry crazy glue with me to put each tooth back in.
