I have had Mohs surgery twice with Dr. Jellinek. The first time the cancer was on my nostril. Dr. Jellinek has the equipment in his practice so he can remove a small portion and test it to see if he got all the cancer. This way he does not take more than is necessary. In my case the third time he got it all. Unfortunately, the amount that had to be taken required reconstruction. Dr. Jellinek used part of my cheek to make a perfect nostril. In addition, he inserted a piece of cartilage from my ear into my nose to hold its shape. My nose looks the same as it did before the surgery. The precision this requires is amazing. In addition, Dr. Jellinek is kind, confident and easy going. He explains everything.nThe cancer I am now recovering from was in my eyebrow. It was scaly and it bled. It felt like an ingrown hair. When it wouldn’t go away and it was diagnosed as squamous cell cancer from the initial biopsy, I went to Dr. Jellinek again. This time I went soon enough for him to get all of it on the first shot. And, I have no clue how he did it, but my eyebrow was left intact! And, you don’t have to worry about picking up what you need during recovery. You get a bag with everything in it!

Dr. Jellinek, along with Dr. Raymond G. Dufresne, are the only Moh's surgeons I will go to (I've had more than a dozen of these procedures).
