Poland Twp Police Department

Today I had quite a different experience from what is being described by Mr. DiCaprio. I was pulled over and the officer approached my husband and I very respectful and friendly as he went about doing his job professionally. Officer Martinez was nice enough to welcome us to the area and he was very good at his job. There should be more cops like him and I would know as my grandfather was a cop. I really didn't agree with what Mr. DiCaprio said about police corruption which is why I'm writing this because with EVERYTHING going on in the world today we need to speak up about positive things and the way Officer Martinez conducted himself was a perfect example of what we need more of. I CAN'T thank him enough for how nice he treated my husband and I and how understanding he was when I told him what happened.

Hope they continue to grow, I updated the stars because they have started to mend compared to in the past (I wrote below).nnIn my lifetime of driving through Poland I was stopped two or three times. Every time the officers had absolutely no reason to pull me over. It is a shame they automatically stop Pennsylvania drivers. Instead of breaking down barriers we need to build partnerships. I am in education and if I had a student from Ohio (Which I have had) I would accept them and welcome them. NOT this police crew, literally everyone from Pennsylvania drives exactly 25 in the 25 MPH zone. My friend Matt got a speeding ticket for going 26 MPH in the 25 MPH zone there in 2007. Not lying, he even had a speedometer that warned if he was going to fast in any zone. I just think police corruption is a shame and unfortunately you are the cream of the crop. Very sad, take a chance to build friendships not put up walls. Please love thy neighbor, but your from Ohio, so you probably do not care to hear it. So sad.nnThis is my opinion and I am sure there are good wholesome cops on your staff. Luckily I have freedom of speech and police corruption (6,724 cases in america per year) takes place way to frequently. I think everyone knows there is abuse of power when driving in or threw Poland. Please take a look at yourselves and change, seek peace not hate.

They seem to pick out PA cars..for them that is there cash cowud83dudc04...can't even get a fair trial..I wont be shopping in Boardman Ohio anytime soon.
