North Royalton City Hall

Unresponsive city, run by receptionists and secretaries. They pushed out the county library from this building, at a time when the library was slated for remodel so they could move in and operate without too much interference from public. Notice the lack of a lobby with even a chair or two for taxpayers to sit. The receptionist is encased behind what looks like a giant glass police screen (and this was added years before Covid). Not very welcoming at all. They refuse to update their website, and half the city workers such as building department and engineers are located miles away on state route 82 for some strange reason. They even pushed out voters to a poorly equipped church on state route 82 (said it was temporary until they finished their move in from old city hall which they leveled). But lo and behold, they did not allow the return of voting (which had taken place at that library site for over 40 years), long after they moved in----not until some of the residents started filing complaints with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. This town now has a city hall building easy to miss at one location, then civil engineers and building department at another location, then the police and fire department headquarters at still another location. At a time when most surrounding communities consolidate and pull offices together, to make easier for residents---this town does quite the opposite.

Great experience voting

Today I tried to file a complaint with the city of North Royalton, concerning a business in their city that does not adhere to the face mask mandate. I was told by the receptionist at city hall that the city of North Royalton does not enforce the mandate.
