I ordered gluten-free bread for four people. $16 extra for gluten-free bread was way too much given the size of the finger sandwiches. It was maybe a slice and a half of bread per person. Otherwise the Tea Party to go was amazing. Lots of food which was very tasty, adorable party as I got the fairy tea party to go and my granddaughter loved it. Would definitely do it again but would not order gluten-free bad. *****nFollow up, Cona explained how the cost was derived for the GF bread, which I understood. Still, I thought this was a great deal and I would absolutely do it again.

This is one of my favorite places to grab tea and scones! The staff are so wonderful and the house is BEAUTIFUL and there is plenty of parking!

I brought my two boys, 6 and 10. Wasn't sure if they would like it, but they loved it. They can't wait to go back. We were sat in the story book room. The menus were perfect for children. The meals were $10 but included their meal, a drink, and a dessert. So I didn't think it was a bad price. Everything had the cutest presentation. And the decorate your own cupcake was genius. They enjoyed everything. I've visited Miss Hickory's myself multiple times before but never with children. I'd bring them back in a heart beat. It's a great experience.

Reservations are a must. And you will likely have to park on the street but it is well worth it. The food is excellent and the ambiance is perfect for a tea room. My quiche was incredible and so filling I didn't have dessert but my friends had the special cake and the bread pudding and loved them both. There is a patio with umbrellas for outdoor seating. If you have a problem with stairs make that known when making your reservation because the stairs are a bit steep, typical of an old house. The tea was good and there were about 30+ flavors to choose from as well as cold drinks and coffee. No alcohol. Check the hours--we went on a Saturday and they closed at 3 pm. They didn't rush us out and in fact we were there til about 3:30 taking pictures and eating dessert. Great place for a special event--but don't expect one big table, you will be seated at smaller tables close to each other.

This was such a treat. My daughter and I did afternoon tea (my gift from her) and it's hard to find words to capture our day. This quaint Tea House takes you to a place like no other. She had the Lady Londonberry tea and I a decaffeinated apple blend. Both were steeped with perfect flavor. We opted for lunch and had scones(decadent), snowman soup and each a salad. Sadly, there was no room for dessert today. We're already planning our next visit for a high tea. The staff is incredibly friendly and answered all our questions. We bought some teas to go, however, I do wish they had an online gift shop. Then again, that could be addictive. If you get the chance, you really should make a reservation and go.
