New Hope is a church that is filled with hope. I am blown away by the people that run the church. They are how I would imagine the early Christians would be, filled with zeal, love, and living the gospel. They just love Jesus so much. There are no paid staff at New Hope, the four pastor's just volunteer their >50 hours a week. The pastor's also volunteer and play the band. They also set up and take down the church at Traverse Elementary school every week. The children ministry is so fantastic, and that too is ran completely on volunteers. It's the most bizarre thing to me, that people can love Jesus so much to really give their lives to him. I am blown away and humbled by the people that attend here.
