URS is a lifeline for our family. Our son has been going to URS for over four years and is in the adult services program with a focus on vocational training. URS provides a safe and enriching environment for my son to learn new skills and grow his confidence to hopefully find employment one day.nnThere is so much a parent of a disabled child has to worry about, but I never worry about my son when he is at URS - he loves going and is so happy with the program.

My child has been attending full time care for 6 months here. He has an individual curriculum and caring teachers. He is thriving with the therapy plans. I really appreciate the services this center offers for special needs families.

I have been bringing my son here since he was 3 Years old. He was diagnosed with pdd-nos Autism. Over the Years he has made so much progress. He was getting occupational therapy before and still gets speech to date. I believe his success has been a collaboration of the school, having an IEP and the therapies he has received. URS is really focused in helping ur child improve. His therapist have been great and I am very thankful to them, they always tried to figure out how to get my son to work with them when he was younger and things were more difficult and never made me feel bad. I had taken him to a different place in Kettering where the therapist would tell me... Well he hides under the table he doesn't want to do the work so there is nothing she could do. I thought to myself are you kidding me, she made me feel like a bad parent and like my son was to difficult for her to work with. So her job was to work with kids with speech delays, many of them could have autism like my son did, her job was to figure out how to get this kids to work with her, yeah it's more challenging but it's not their fault that you can't figure it out. I had to help her in many occasions till I decided to bring him back to URS. Their therapists are awesome and they figure out what works for your child and how to get them to work with them just fine. My son had a good conection with them and he liked them and you can feel when they are trying their best for your child. He outgrew his behavior problems at 7 years old and I was always proud of him for getting complements on his good behavior and Improvements at school. He is one of the best behaved kids at school now. If your son needs help and therapy. Try United Rehabilitation Services you won't regret it.

We love URS! Our five-year-old son has been receiving preschool, child care, and therapy services for almost a year now, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the programs offered. The staff are caring, qualified professionals who work collaboratively with the parents to make sure the children are getting the best care possible. I am so happy we were referred to this team of caregivers!
