Specifically about this lot: it is small. If you're driving some extra wide dually, either park it elsewhere, or wedge it into a single spot. During the summer this lot fills up fast and parking in the grass is prohibited. Also, if you're done hiking and then going to get breakfast at the mill, take your car out of the lot. Be courteous and enjoy the hike.

Perfect spot to park for free, though can be busy and full in the afternoon. No bathroom which was a bummer, but started and finished a 11.5 mile loop through the 3 connecting parks, John bryan and glen Helen

Beautiful easy, flat hike running by the river. Dogs are not allowed on the first part of the trail, but are on the second. Have been twice this year and there is consistent maintenance of the trail, and they are building wooden walkways over the parts that are eroded or tricky.

Clifton Gorge is a super beautiful hike through a natural gorge. There are multiple trails some even lead to John Bryan State park. After a long hike there are plenty of things to do/check out in the town. Such as eating ice cream at Young's Jersey Dairy Farm and eating a wonderful meal at the Clifton Mill. During the summer they have a huge Sunflower field down the road where you can get beautiful photos. This is an area you must check out. You will not regret it. I promise. It has been my favorite place to go and get in touch with nature.
