New York City Police Department - 66th Precinct

7/11 was a terrible day. I called the police twice, and each time the waiting time was about 3 hours on average, which requires you to keep calling them to tell them that you need to see the police. I can't remember how many times I repeated my story and address today. At the time of the storm tonight, I asked them if I could get on the car and report. The male officer said no. When I kept asking whyuff1ffemale police officers said they have ruleuff1a“don't allow women to sit in the back of police cars. ” but I still don't understand why is womenuff1fThe reporting process made me feel more like a criminal than a victim. I was out in the rain and they were in the car. The male policeman was very rude to me. When I finished the report, I asked again if I could be taken to my officeuff01My office is located 5 blocks + 2 avenues away. They refused again. And told me I could walk through it, in the pouring rain...

Very disappointed in NYPD. In the course of the last 6 weeks, we have been robbed several times. To save them time, we have got the investigation completed by the bank, that the money was stolen from. With all results in hand, we walked into PCT 66, where we learned, that they need more papers, and hogwash to start an investigation. Those documents, they need do not exist. So Thank you NYPD for all the tickets, we get, and when a citizen needs You guys, You are never there to protect, and serve.

Worst experience with the police ever. They take forever to get to you if it's a non emergency. And when they got here, they took all of about 3 minutes to get everything settled. Amazing job as always.
