Brooklyn Public Library - Bay Ridge Branch

Sorry to say that my visits to the branch were disappointed. I have reserved books and always checked the status before I come over to pick them up. But twice the books that says available to pick up were not found! Im not sure if I'm the only one experienced this but I hope someone could pay attention and look into this matter. Thanks

Due to Covid19 we couldn't go in to browse, but the books that we had on hold were ready for us! The librarian in the lobby was very nice and helpful! I needed to make an address change and she was able to take my information and make the changes inside on their computer. They are complying with the social distancing safety by allowing only 1 parent with their children into the lobby at a time.

Best library ever. Easy street parking. Quiet neighborhood.

In the 70s, my first temple to learning. I was the smartassed kid who hunted down the James Blish Star Trek paperbacks, lived in front of the microfilm machines, and played chess with patient adults.

great place- only BPL where I can actually work and find some quiet.
