I've been coming to this branch since I was a kid, super friendly and on hold books come very fast.
Innovative new concept that combines a homeless shelter with a nursery. Dont expect to get anything productive done here. Ever. This is where the homeless people from the shelter down the block go to charge their phones. At 2pm, half the library closes for the free after-school programs the library provides, and the other half becomes a screaming mass of children. It does get interesting when the homeless people with psychosis start to scream curses at the loud children though. The all-female staff does exactly what they're supposed to do as they stand there wide-eyed in horror with no idea how to cope with the situation.
Friendly staff and fast wifi, but pretty noisy for a library
Great place to bring the family. They have programs from babies to older adults. Pleasant and helpful staff members. On week days between the hours of 3-6PM, it can be a little nosy due to the amount of children coming to be in the library, but it is a safe place for children and teens. I enjoy coming here and and bringing my family. Such a wonderful place.
nice staff, well lit reading area, clean and mostly quiet at times. the only reason i didn't give it 4 stars was b/c they don't have a water fountain. that's really weird. people get thirsty while reading... i've never seen a public building NOT have a water fountain. pretty frustrating in the summer when i bike there and need some water. please get a working water fountain. thank you.
