I cannot emphasize how much of a fraud this place is. The barn is ramshackle. The horses poorly kept. The owners (?) promised us a ride. Which amounted to walking their poorly fed horses over a small patch of land. I have ridden all my life. I enquired, very specifically, about a he possibility of a vigorous ride. I was assured that it was available. Nothing of the sort.
We called and a very unfriendly lady answered who said this is their private home and they do this because people asked them to serve the community. So no intention of being a welcoming business.nI just wanted to book a lesson but she didn't even let me ask for the prices. She was so unfriendly from the beginning that made me feel we wouldn't have a pleasant experience. It doesn't seem they like catering to tourists. perhaps they only want to serve the local community, which would be fine, but it would be better if they disclose it on the website rather than wasting people's time and their time.
We, granddaughter and I had a great ride. They pushed the point not to bring my phone. Not to loose it in the ride. They took pictures all the way through. It was a nice ride. BUT NO PICTURES. This was a new adventure for us. Something she wanted to do. I have nothing to share with our family. It wasn’t that good. It was a nice walk. ☹ufe0f
My husband made reservations for my daughter's 8th birthday. We live about 3 hours away. So I called to get an address so I can put in my GPS. Was answered by a hello no farm name or anything like that. I asked if this was were they did horse back riding, she wouldn't answer the question and demanded I identified myself. I explained we were on our way. And but needed an address to put on gps. She confirmed the reservation but still refused to give me an address as she said it was private property. I don't know if she was drunk or what? she kept rudely interrupting me and told me she would give me an address when were closer. Seriously? We ended up not going there. But Wow!! what a lunatic.
Beautiful people, horses were amazing. First time ever riding and they made me feel very comfortable. Learned so much, trail was breath taking. Definitely would love to go again. ud83dude0a
