I took a ring in to be resized. Both of the men working were very friendly and courteous. The man waiting on me said the person who does the work comes from El Paso only one day a week. I picked up my ring the day I was told it would be ready. It was perfect. This will be my go to jeweler. S. Gillespie

Jewelers can be very shady and their markup is 400%.., Austin's however are very trustworthy and fair. I've enjoyed my dealings with them. By reading the lower reviews, it appears folks think "they're rude". I found the owner to be frank and to the point. I suppose this could be mistaken for rude.

My watch was running slow, obviously in need of a new battery. After the lady at Austin's put a new battery in, the hour hand on my watch swung freely and the minute hand ran much faster than it should. Their response, "your watch must have suffered some traumatic shock". They suggested that I send it to Johnston's Jewelry in Ruidoso. A watch that I wore into the store, now is in the mail at my expense.
