My mother wanted to stop in,the place looked lovely,selection of books were great. Stationary,toys and other fun items to look at. Most likely because my mom and I were speaking in a foreign language,the gentlemen did not greet us at all . Most likely assumed we wouldn't buy anything. Ignored us completely,walked to the back section later while we approached the counter. Made zero conversation when I was purchasing the book and didn't make a sound about a receipt? a bag? nothing. It was so odd. Not a review person,but I found it rather unfriendly and unpleasant.
Such a wonderful book store! I always come here to find unique kids books, Valentine's cards and amazing photography books. Really, if you want gorgeous coffee table books, they have such a great selection. If you are a tourist, they have really nice souvenirs like NYC and Brooklyn specific books and gifts. If you want to find your next inspiring book, in one if the most inspiring neighborhoods in Brooklyn, this is the place.
