Great little wine-store. It is very well curated and has a good range of prices and variety, which was a pleasant surprise seeing its size. I went in there today for Sake, and while the selection was small, I found something of the type and price I was looking for. They also have a selection of wines from places I haven't seen anywhere else. Love the effort put in in giving descriptions of the different beverages. Very happy this wine-store is closest to where I live.

My go to wine shop for interesting/natural wines. Wide, well curated selection and knowledgeable staff. Also used them to order a gift recently and the woman on the phone was very helpful in selecting a few bottles that my friend loved.

Decided to give this place a try on our way back from grocery shopping. Terrible customer service. As soon as we walked in the woman at the front desk literally SHOOED us away and told us to wait outside. The store did not look that crowded and there was no customer limit on the door. I understand and encourage social distancing but they were extremely rude about it and lost my business.

As an Upper East Side resident, Eastside Cellars has been my go-to place for great quality wines and craft ciders. The shop is cozy and clean, and the staff is very accommodating and will always greet you with a welcoming smile. Since the lockdown started, I usually prefer online orders. A quick text message from the shop lets me know when the order is ready for a pick-up, and the staff often makes sure my favorite selections are nice and chilled. Pay these folks a visit—it’s undoubtedly one of the best (and kindest) wine shops on the UES!

Decent wines, bad customer service. The cashier didn’t even bother to say thanks and didn’t even acknowledge that my transaction was over so I was just staying there while she carries on ( didn’t ask if I want a receipt either so pretty confusing what’s her job), lol it’s her job literally to be a cashier and she’s not even doing that properly. Zero customer service skills. With COVID going on you could improve on your customer service so that your customers feel welcomed to spend their money there and come back. Both the cashier and the young gentleman at the front of the door were pretty snobby. Pick up your mood and good luck with your business!
