Love this library! The children's section upstairs is fantastic. The kid's coloring club on Saturday mornings is great fun. Love the selection of books and the quiet ambiance -- definitely a great place to escape. Librarians are very professional and helpful.

Probably the rudest children’s library front desk lady I’ve ever met. My son and I were there to have fun and check out some books and she couldn’t possibly be less helpful. No smile m, smirking comments, zero patience. Get that lady out of there m, or at least give her a martini or something to lighten her up a bit. A miserable person like that should not be working in the children’s area of any library. And it wasn’t that she was just having a bad day. I have been in there several times, and it’s always the same. Today I finally decided to write a review about it. Horrible.

For the first time today on 1/20/2020 I walked in to this library, I was hoping to use their computer to fill out some documents. At the front desk they gave me a one time password and the desk clerk directed me to go to the nearest stand up computers. Since I thought it was all the same I sat done next to those stand up computers. It was all the same cause I wasn’t told how to use the one time use bar code I was given. and I tried to stick that small piece of paper anywhere I thought it may enter to no avail. So I went back to the front desk person who walked me to the stand up computers where another person was also fumbling trying to figure out what to do with that little paper. After that I was sat down next to a questionable person who was just staring the computer, but since I was in a hurry didn’t care till started to talk dirty to me which really started to bother me so I got up and went to the front desk. I reported the incident to which the front desk person said: we will take action against it, however I didn’t see too much action being taken cause the stranger was talking to himself pretty loud even as I was living and nobody bothered to go to talk to him. Unless you want to check out some used old books it is not a library I would recommend for anyone to go.

Yes, they have a bathroom and fountain. Relatively well soundproofed library. Some good collections. Sometimes nutty. Good art exhibits.
