New York State Appellate Division of the Supreme Court

My girlfriend and I walked past the building wondering what it was. One of the officers outside answered our question and told us we were welcome to go inside and check it out. Gil Sanchez was the officer who met us inside and he was incredible. He took us into the courtroom and taught us all about it. He was awesome and should be lauded

A beautiful architectural design in the fantastic Flatiron district of NYC. There are so many wonderful details to this building to enjoy. Tours can be had on the inside as well. A must see when in the area.

If you need to get a Certificate of Good Standing from the 1st Department, bring a check or money order for $10, they are open till 4pm on weekdays, the office is on the 26th floor.

This building has a gorgeous interior. A policeman offered to show me the courtroom and it is not to be missed. Beautifully restored. Easy just to walk by this building ... but don't!

This government building is an excellent example of the classic Beaux-Arts architecture of the 18th century. I have had the pleasure of touring the interior chambers and courtroom and can was even more taken aback by the interior than I was by the beautiful exterior. The interior is adorned with beautiful allegorical murals and bespoke furniture. The exterior is as grand as can be expected from the period and only lends to the promise of what is to come when you enter. The building interior is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
