I've been involved in various capacities over many years. I find the police department to be very professional, three competent, extremely responsive and very thorough.nnI had a recent need and I called and they kept you in the phone until the problem was resolved and they arrived.nnI found them very kind and very amiable. I could ask for no more because they covered all the bases.nnI've always been grateful to the police department and my view has not changed over the many years that I've been in love with them.nnAnd they are located on main Street and easily visible from the street. There is some free parking.nnAnd I feel very fortunate knowing they are there to eserve the community.

Good afternoonnWe just moved to andover .....What can I say no words to describe how I feel about the police officer that I don’t know his name and I would really like to meet him some day in person and thank him for what he did bringing 2 baby’s car seat at Shawsheen school for my wife .nSo kind of younThank you sir much appreciated you have my full respect .nBennegueouch med Amine the father of akram & nada .

These guys are real professionals. They saved my car from being ripped off. Although we have only called them a couple of times in 11 years, they were there in less then 5 minutes. A very smart bunch.

This police department is terrible. They have no compassion especially when it comes to missing dogs, other pets or animals in general. If it wasnt for the goodness of residents people would never get their dogs back. We reported that we found a missing dog, they would not allow us to leave the dog at the police station. The owner had called in and reported her dog missing but they failed to get the description from her. They failed to call her and notify her that we found her dog. Since they did not provide us with a place to send the dog we welcomed him into our home for the night, thank goodness we live in a place where we were able to do so. We contacted a shelter in town, luckily the owner contacted the same shelter also and that is how she was reunited with her dog, with absolutely no help from the Andover PD.
