Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County

What an amazing library! This library is huge, with amazing amount of books and a good vibe of a place you can read in. I MEAN REALLY READ. This library has so much to offer. I wish I lived a little closer, they would see a lot of me here.

The staff are pretty friendly and helpful. Most of them have been at this library for years. Central library is a couple decades old has a vast collection of nonfiction, reference books/manuals and is connected to the rundel library across the street via a below street level tunnel. Parking is free for a limited time (1-2 hours depending on which garage) but you must ask a library staff member at the checkout desk for a parking validation ticket. The library is clean and there is security at the entrances. There is also a large enclosed area dedicated to small children as well as another pretty large area for older children and teens. Overall, a solid library in comparison to the main library in downtown atlanta or the NY public library system in NYC.

With the restrictions, they let you request online and then schedule a pickup when ready. Thanks you're great!
