Star Theatre

We first became aware of the Star Theatre when we stopped-off for a lunch-break in Dansville whilst driving to Buffalo. Visually impressed with the look-n-feel of the venue & its history. Commercial survival will surely be challenging in 2021, but delighted to find that they're still managing to screen movies.

Great place to watch a movie! Hopefully they can make it past these hard times. Old school hometown feel that you can't find anywhere else!

This theater was carefully restored and has been lovingly maintained. They've done upgrades, including Dolby Digital. The prices are fair, and the popcorn is excellent. My only wish might be that they would accept cards because my bank isn't in town; I'd even be willing to pay $.50 extra to cover whatever fee Square or something similar might charge. Regardless, I love having this in town, and I go when they've got something I want to see.
