I renovated 5 kitchens and tried 4 other kitchen designers before I found Emilie at Carriagetown Kitchens. Emilie is by far the most enjoyable to work with. She made the process simple and fast which is very appreciated when flipping houses. This kitchen was complex because it was a 240 year-old home, complete with crooked ceilings and floors. Emilie spent over an hour speaking with my contractor to find the most economical way to finish the kitchen nicely. I’m extremely happy with her knowledge, eye for design and understanding of the construction process. The cabinets are excellent, they feel solid and glide smoothly.

Emilie is extremely professional, responsive and pays attention to detail. She was able to maximize every inch of our space. She was with us every step of the way and we felt very well cared for. I was referred to Carriagetown Kitchens after a friend found out I was going through Lowe's for our kitchen remodel. I never thought I could afford to go through a designer so would not have considered doing so without the referral. It was the best decision ever! The quality of the cabinets, hardware and counter tops they offer is top notch and they work very closely with you to help you stay within your budget. They made our entire remodel a seamless experience - they have an excellent eye for design, they are extremely knowledgeable and patient and they make it very clear they have the client's best interest at heart.nTheir responsiveness, extreme attention to detail and pride for the products they represent was so impressive. Emilie came out to the house on multiple occasions to check in on how things were going. She is amazing at follow through and always stayed in touch with the contractor during the entire process. We felt very well taken care of and confident that nothing would fall through the cracks. I would highly recommend them!
They did not do work for me, but were very willing to set me in the right direction. I was looking for repairs and hoped they could provide them (it’s not something they do), but the person who answered was very kind. She asked me to send them an email so she could send a list of contractors over to me, which she did berg quickly. I am not even a customer and it’s the best customer service I’ve received in a long time!
I recently renovated my kitchen and I love it. My kitchen was a sad 35 year old space, so taking on the renovation was a big, nerve wracking deal to me. With Emilie, the owner, I felt instantly comfortable. Her studio space is warm and welcoming. Emilie immediately put me at ease, kindly and patiently walking me through every decision (and there are a lot of them). My contractor and I found working with Emilie a delight. Ever competent, immediately responsive to questions and concerns, Emilie is the consummate friendly, charming professional. She was always on point, always on top of everything.
