I grew up visiting PIttsburgh, where I was always greeted with baklava for dessert-a regular gift from a Greek neighbor to our family for decades. I hadn’t had any for years, but when I heard the NPR clip about Sheer Ambrosia, I had to try it. It arrived today and looked exactly as I remembered it from my childhood. But when I opened the sampler, oh my gosh, I have never smelled anything like it. The aroma was unbelievably inviting. And my first bite. I remember liking baklava—even looking forward to it being served for all of our dinner meals— but I have never tasted anything like this. It is such a special decadent treat, to be savored with family and friends. Rita, you have a gift!!!! I have made four more orders for loved ones who I will not be able to visit this holiday but whose company I would treasure while taking small bites of Rita’s baklava and drinking a hot toddy. This is the most scrumptious baklava I've had. And the different flavors are super good and a fun departure! The traditional, maple bacon, and spiced pear are (so far!) my favorites! Also, these make a wonderful gift!!! After all, that's how I was introduced to this baker's treats!!!

Absolutely delicious baklava and a super friendly owner. A hidden gem in draper. The packaging is lovely, we gifted some to our friends who loved it too. I will definitely get more in the future.

I didn't realize I liked baklava until I ate the best baklava ever. Sheer Ambrosia's baklava is incredible and such a fantastic treat. I tried many flavor and they are all incredible, however my favorite around Christmas time is the cranberry. The tartness of the cranberry pairs so well with the sweet baklava. She also puts together the prettiest packages if you want to gift this yummy treat. I took packages to some loan officer offices and they all were so impressed with the presentation and how delicious this treat was. Reach out to Rita, your taste buds will thank you!
