I had a great experience with this pharmacy. All of the staff were courteous, understanding, and professional. They even helped me understand the best prices comparing insurance and cash prices. I did have to wait on hold for long periods, but that is understandable since they took such care in handling my calls.
I was supposed to have my fertility medication on a Tuesday. When it didn’t show up, I called first thing Wednesday morning. They told me they needed additional paperwork from my doctor’s office. I got all the paperwork sorted out and to them that evening. I called back on Thursday and they ensured me my medication would be there Saturday (I needed to take it on Sunday). It never showed up Saturday and their office was closed when I tried to call. I called again first thing Monday morning and they again told me they needed more paperwork, the same paperwork my doctor’s office sent twice already. I asked them to look again and they magically found the paperwork and told me I’d have the medication that day which was already a day late. I called yet again at 3:00 pm that day to ensure the medication had shipped. It still hadn’t. My husband started calling around to other pharmacies and we ended up getting the prescription transferred elsewhere. Timing is critical with fertility medication. I’m already stressed with infertility issues and have been pumped full of hormones. This is not the way to handle customers, let alone customers that are struggling with infertility issues where the timing of taking certain medications is critical to a successful pregnancy. DO NOT use this pharmacy. They can not be counted on to get you your medication in a timely fashion.
I understand this pharmacy is severely understaffed. But I got a call on Friday 10/16 saying an order was called in and they need me to contact them about my order. I called back. I sat on hold for over 45 minutes. Nobody picked up and said “I’ll be right with you”. The hold music doesn’t give an estimated wait time. So I called back on Saturday 10/17 and was able to reach them. They told me I’d have my order by Tuesday 10/20. On Tuesday they left me a voicemail that they needed me to call. It was a billing issue. So I called right back and sat on hold for over an hour. I called again 10/21 at 3 separate times and sat on hold. I called today 10/22 and sat on hold! My medication is needed so I can start a family. I NEED this medication or I will have to start all over again. My husband called too and sat on hold. My husband found an email address and emailed them saying we need a call back TODAY (10/22). A woman called and although my husband said she was nice, she had the AUDACITY to say to my husband they called us on Tuesday 10/20 and left a voicemail....here’s my issue with that: I was supposed to get my medication on Tuesday. Why didn’t I receive a call MONDAY, the day BEFORE my prescription was needed?? Also-I CALLED BACK EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY AND SAT ON HOLD!!!!!! don’t you DARE say that you called me on Tuesday when I was AT MY JOB especially when I CALLED YOU RIGHT BACK!!!! You are so lucky you spoke with my husband and not me. I have never in my life had to act like the crazy customer you hear about. But here I am. This woman told my husband they are best to reach by email because they have more people able to answer emails than the phones! THATS A YOU PROBLEM. If my medication is not here tomorrow as my husband was PROMISED, you’re going to receive a call and an email from your WORST Karen experience ever! I promise you that!!!!
Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I have never experienced such a headache and unprofessional people in my life. I will be writing a letter and submitting it to my doctor to encourage them to never use this pharmacy again. I ordered a prescription and specifically asked them to call me if my insurance gave them any problems. This was 2 weeks prior to me needing the medication. Well two weeks go by and I hear nothing. I now need to take the medication and call them to find out they have no clue why it hasn’t shipped. Spent HOURS talking to different people and nothing. Finally I decide to pay out of pocket and they then tell me they misquoted me and it will be $200 more dollars. I fight it and the supervisor gave me the original quote I received. I spend all night worrying if It will make it in time for me to take it the next night. I get a call in the morning saying oh we misquoted you, we are charging you $500 more. I flipped, supervisor said it was human error. Well after 3 errors there is definitely a problem with your system. After more hours on the phone, they agree to honor the original quote AGAIN. A few hours later I get a call saying that their carrier is bringing it to my house.... ummm I got fed ex shipping confirmation the night before and it is now 12:30 and you said it would be here by 12pm (it needed a signature, so I had people waiting at my house all morning so I didn’t miss it because I had a doctors appointment). Well it is now 3:30pm and I am still waiting on no sleep because I spent the whole night worrying. Save yourself the stress and tears and ask your doctor to use another pharmacy. I hope no one has to go through what I went through.
Freedom has been amazing! They are very friendly and the lowest price i received out of 4 pharmacies. Got a call once my doctor sent my prescription, made my payment and we were good to go!nEverything arrived on time and well packaged.nI also had to submit a last minute order since i needed more meds and they got delivered the very next morning. Awesome!!!nnThank you!!!
