The Centre

My boyfriend lived here in one of the most expensive units and all we did was hear noise all day and night from the other tenants and the elevator banging through the walls. The owners daughters work in the office and only care to keep the building filled. Once they have your money and your contract they don’t care about anything but ignoring calls and emails and going on vacation. It’s supposed to be a luxury building but everyone from Washington Heights and the projects is living here with fancy cars and police raids weekly. Stay away from this building unless you enjoy being in a rap video. When we moved from the building we had to wait over three months to get a security deposit back and they deducted for some type of stain on the rug which wasn’t there when we left. They never return your calls , we had to go there to remind them to send us our deposit! Do you think with over 300 units and 1 million in income per month they will do a better job ? The pool in the summer is full of kids and we never even seen that many kids in the building ! Plus it smells like urine and it’s dirty. As well as the garage and the parking smells like urine and always dirty. Lenny who is in charge of the real estate (smart realty owner) and best bud of the owner and daughters, also supposedly screens people and is in charge of the rates but obviously he is doing a horrible job. Only the front desk staff is great !

This is a great building with a fantastic team! The Property Management Team (Alexis, Arianne, and Michele) is the best of the best. They are responsive, caring, and truly appreciate the building residents. Thank you to the Property Management Team, Concierge, and Security for always doing their best!

Place is beautiful, good hang out and get together place.

Living at the Centre for almost two years. Location is great to NYC and to get out in either direction at the GW Bridge. Apartments are nicely equipped and have a good layout. Management has genuine great people running the building and they are loyal and very accommodating to the residents. Parties are thrown every major holiday for the residents. The concierge is more than you can expect from a quality reception and very welcoming. The few times I've had an issue in my apartment you reach out to the Super Joe, and his people are here same day, and it's all taken care of. Rooftop pool is a sweet spot in the summer for sure.

I wish the tenants would be more respectful of the homeowners across the street and stop using their private property to walk their dogs. Our front lawns are not your dog’s toilet. You have your own dog walk area as part of the complex. Please use it and be considerate of your neighbors, we all live here.
