Beautiful little loop, marked one way to help with social distancing. It's always a pleasure to walk the boarded path to the pond. Today we saw a young bald eagle and two hawks overhead. We didn't take the 2 mile trail as it looked very popular today.

This feels like a hidden gem. Only a 10 minute drive from Portsmouth. Take the trail across from the parking lot for a longer, much prettier walk.
Love going here besides the views and the boardwalk you can see various wildlife including Ospreys and other birds, butterflies and even hummingbirds
Delightful walks that feels perfect in many ways- especially the way-closer-than-expected view of Jackson Lab at Adams Point in Durham, and the rest of the Bay!
