Fantastic store, most knowledgeable and nicest man is Steve Smith, he wrote the book, reallyud83dudc4d, I’m from Ct. but when I go up for a hike or hikes, I have to stop in and say Hello. My one son is 28 and we met Steve when he was 9 when we converged onto another trail we were hiking and bumped into Steve. I had just bought his book, Hiking the Whites the day before and what are the chances of running into the author on a trail. We exchanged names and I asked if wrote the book that I had just bought, answer was yes and he said come to my store tomorrow and I’ll sign it. We went to the store and his Buddy, Mike co-author was there as well. Great Memory

The place to stop for maps / guidebooks. I was pleasantly surprised with the inventory of rare, no longer in publication books. Savvy shopkeeper was an invaluable asset, and very friendly. Will definitely be stopping by again !
