Dr. Allen has been seeing my children for 2 years when she suddenly diagnosed my 13 year old daughter with a heart problem during a routine physical because her chest hurt when she ran a mile. I tried to tell her my daughter doesn’t exercise, but she kept asking my daughter, “Are you SURE your chest hurts when you run?” She sent the physical to her school and until we saw a cardiologist, who happens to visit this clinic once a month, she could not participate in PE. We have not returned to the clinic since then, and my daughter does not have a heart problem. We did go get another opinion from a doctor with an M.D. who examined her, listened to her heart, and had a couple of tests done. I wish she had based her opinion on other factors, like listening to her heart, instead of asking my daughter the same question over and over. It was the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had. I recommend going to any of the doctors at Columbus Family Practice across the street from this clinic.
