Great staff. A bit pricy but it is what it is

Dont come here! My 10 month old puppy was having a hard time breathing they wouldn't do a thing until I paid 2 thousand dollars up front so I did then they discovered she had a tumor next to her lungs so they took a sample and wanted to keep her a few days but it would cost anther $1000 so i paid up...let me have her back a few days later. It was cancer they recommended she be put down. Cost me another $350. I felt completely hustled and lost my dog..These people are crooks and take advantage of people who love there pets and will do anything for them.

I'm not a big fan of THIS vet. I had a dog..Brooklyn, who was hit by a car and her condition was such that she had major head trauma and we were told she was already physically failing and needed to be put down..I had no money, no care credit. They made me take her home to put her in my garage until we could set up the cremation. IF I had a credit card or a CARE Credit card,the vet would have tried to do more to try to save her...if possible. I had nothing on me but was able to get cash and return to have them send Brooke to the crematory. The vets said many people just leave their pets at their vet after being euthanized.That was so obviously not the case with my boyfriend and I AND I believe they should create a separate account to enter the names, addresses and credit card information.. showing intent to return and holding you monetarily responsible if the pet is left postmortem.Be ready to fork over your credit card..unfortunately in emergency situations, it's the only way to operate. This broke my heart, I was told to just keep her body in my garage, where an animal could get to her...so I did choose to keep her inside my house. The choices given to me just were not fair to someone who truly loved her four legged friend and was told something so unbelievable to me. Just research your veterinarian Clinic wisely. The staff is nice enough...in retrospect, I should have checked out their payment and policies on animals being euthanized. So very sad.

They were great with my very sick kitty. Kept me updated and answered any questions I had while he was in the hospital and when I brought him home.

Went with my best friend today. We had his 14 yr old beautiful Himalayan Tabbie named Sadie who was close to passing which came on so suddenly today. We arrived at Mass RI Veterinary ER and with in 5 minutes we were assisted the staff was so kind and so sensitive. We were both in tears knowing we had to say goodbye and the doctor and nurses could not have been more compassionate. I just wanted to thank the staff for their kindness professional atmosphere and for making this experience as comfortable as they did. 5 stars.
