The Habit Burger Grill

Still the Best Burger here in Utah. Prefer their Double Char over anything at In&Out, Smash Burger, Five Guys, and Shake Shake, all within a mile. The grill technique makes for a juicy tasty burger. Say that in Samuel L. Jackson's voice. Staff is quite excellent too. Courteous and friendly. Very clean restaurant and restrooms too..

Habit burgers are always delicious. Onion rings, salads and shakes are all good. Can't go wrong here.

I've had many good experiences with The Habit in the past, but I am absolutely disgusted by their online ordering portal. First of all, when a potential customer goes to select a location on the website, it should CLEARLY state the hours of operation. It doesn't. Second, if a potential customer goes to order outside of hours or days of operation, the ordering portal should CLEARLY state that an order cannot be placed. Again, it doesn't! I ordered three hours ago, assuming from everything that I saw on the website that the joint was open today. Received an order confirmation, saw the charge pending on my card, and even got a text 10 minutes before my scheduled time saying "Your order will be ready soon, click this link to check in". Because of that, I waited for 20 minutes in the Curbside Pickup noted the "OPEN" sign on the door that shows the hours in very small print that I wasn't able to see from my car, and when I called their number all I got were very unhelpful options that led me nowhere. It didn't help that two other vehicles were parked for curbside pickup as well, so I didn't think anything of my order being late until I finally went to the door and saw that they weren't open and I was obviously not getting my order. I'm okay with The Habit and most of Utah being closed on Sunday, it's just part of living in Mormonville, but at least use a functioning portal so that people don't have to waste their time! I will definitely not be eating at The Habit until they get their website fixed. It's a shame, because I was really in the mood for burgers tonight.
