I love Myers it's a great place to shop. Essentially it's a classy Walmart. Most of my experiences here has been great and the only reason for the lack of stars is the select associate who have been unhelpful or rude at the self checkout. When trying to scan your items the system will constantly flag you if you have more than one thing in your hand. So if you reach behind you and grab one thing from your cart in each hand it says no. I understand the system and that makes sense. What is not okay though is when the associate is looking talking and acting you like you're trying to steal something. Now when I'm off work I'm in sweatpants and comfy clothes I don't even try to play the part of a meijer's customer because I'm my only day off I'm doing grocery shopping and running errands. I want to be comfortable. But some of the people who work there expect a certain kind of people and it's clear. When it comes down to it I probably make 10 times more than that cashier does and I don't appreciate being treated in that way. I have no intention of stealing your bananas I am simply doing my grocery shopping that I could potentially take elsewhere. You should not judge a book by its cover.
