Used them for remodel work and was nothing short of a nightmare. Sloppy tile job, siding repair was not flush with current siding. Contacted owner and he did not correct the issue (refused to show up to house to look at what work was done).nCurrently waiting for tile repair then will be taking to small claims court. Do NOT use!!nnEdit to response to owner: Owner sent tech back to complete work because he had not FONISHED the work. When the day was over the tech didn't even complete all tasks. The $100 was not a tip, but was given to the tech at the beginning of the day when I pleaded with him to please finish the work TODAY....After the work was finished I had to have a plumber redo all of his work (no p trap). Owner did not show up to the property once after I asked him. Pictures will show poor workmanship

We were having problems with our gas fireplace. Consumer's Energy was out four times and replaced two parts and it still didn't work correctly. We gave up on Consumer's and called Steve from The Repairman. He sent Tim over and he fixed it correctly in one short visit. Tim was knowledgeable and friendly and we should have called him first. We highly recommend The Repairman!

This is most likely the most outstanding and honest business that I've ever encountered. The owner contacted me to set-up an appointment. Charlie, the repair man showed-up onetime, he introduced himself and actually finished the scheduled work early. He offered to do another repair for me, and at no extra charge. When he went to Menard's for parts, he brought back some lightbulbs, saving me a trip to the store. Everything was finished professionally and thoroughly. I can't recommend a better business for household repairs. To top it off, I wasn't even requested to leave a review. Thank you Steve and Charlie.

Was quoted $250 for a variety of tasks on our house that included cleaning our gas fireplace, changing a water heater valve and changing a outdoor water valve faucet. We agreed to the work and they came out within a week or so. The technician cleaned our fireplace but it would not work after the cleaning. Our water heater valve was fixed but the technician shut off the main water valve and broke it trying to reopen it. City of Portage had to come out to dig up our sidewalk to fix the issue. We were in the process of selling our house so the experience was terrible. We endes up paying an additional fee to fix the water valve that the City of Postage provided to the Repairman, but he never reimbursed us for it. Overall, a bad experience with the owner taking no responsibility for his technicians actions. He stood by him the whole way even though we were dissatisfied with the whole process. Would not recommend and avoid at all costs.
