People go out of their way to help. They're courteous and professional.nArt

If your new to the experience and have not done any research on it, then you're likely to enjoy the experience. In our case, we had a prior, immersive experience with glass blowing and had the ability to decide on the colors we wanted. At Glass Art Kalamazoo, nthere was no creative freedom and the instructors did most of the work for you; albeit our instructor did let us do a little more than the other. However, it is unfortunate that I observed some customers who appeared to want more involvement in the process (looked bored/disappointed) .

I took a class this last weekend very nice people to work with. I did the 3 1 hour classes learned a lot. They had a lot of volunteers to help at the studio helped answer questions was very impressed with the safety, they were very conscious of making sure all of us in the classes were being helped. Would recommend it for any one any age!

Bought two tickets for a glass blowing class but due to the winter weather, was unable to make it. I called and emailed my circumstance to explain that I was driving from Holland, which is an hour drive away and that there were evening events closed all over. I spent over $70 and they didn't reimburse me for any of it. All they did was offer a small percentage off if I spent more money and signed up for another class. That is not happening, and it really is too bad because I was really looking forward to it. Please be warned. No reimbursements!

We had a great time at Hot Date Night at Glass Art Kalamazoo on Valentine's Day. We had never seen or tried glass art making. We learned with Ekin how to make a heart paperweight and how to make fused glass tile with Lester. Both activities were fully hands on but with close, friendly instruction and really fun. I'm excited to pick up our finished projects next week. A recommendation for dumb people who don't plan ahead, like me: the furnace is HOT. Skip the hairspray and wear your hair back. Wear cotton clothes. My flowy silk shirt and long bell sleeves made me a little more hesitant than I would normally be. Next time, I'll dress more casually.
