Suzuki music studio of Mt. Pleasant played Christmas music here today - very nice performance. And there are a lot of choices of interesting handmade things you can buy as a gift or for yourself.

For a town the size of Mount Pleasant, this is a great place. They offer classes for everyone from kids to the elders, go into the schools and put on programs, co-sponsor artistic events, etc.

Art Reach is a fantastic organization! The store offers works from over 150 artists and it literally has something for everyone. Plus, they offer affordable art classes and tons of artist opportunities!

My husband has displayed his wine holders at Art Reach for several years. Although we both like the fact that Art Reach showcases the talent of many local artists, and it's a great place to find unique gifts, we were extremely unhappy with the carelessness with which they handled selling his items. Recently he received a check for less than the agreed to selling amount. He inquired and was told they marked it down because it was the last of his items they had, never advising him of such.nHowever, Art Reach did not take a cut in their 40% commission. They had over 3 dozen of his wine holders, but over the years he has only received payment for a third of the items they had. The establishment needs to improve on their record-keeping and improve upon their communication with their artists who display their works.

This is a very active art center in Mt Pleasant, providing exceptional art experiences to visitors for such a small town. The staff is very nice. I have participated in ArtWalk for several years now and enjoy being a part of such a good quality art experience.
