If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience! I scheduled an appointment ten days in advance to repair a leaking GE washing machine. I explained the issue to the lady that scheduled the call and she said they could help. I believe the problem was a tub seal, which I ordered and had available for the repairman, Douglas Cormack. I took the day off from work to be available for the repair. I was told he would arrive between 9-noon. At 12:30 I called and was told he would be there. At 12:45 or so I got a call from the repairman and was told he’d be there shortly. He showed up 15 minutes later, an hour later than the three hour window. Not that big of a deal, but he seemed ok with it. I explained the issue, he glanced at the machine and before doing anything else, said he couldn’t change it a tub seal. Isn’t this one of the most common problems with a washing machine, a worn tub seal? Not to mention I already had the part. In any event, he was unapologetic. He had the nerve to tell me he wouldn’t charge me for coming out. How about you pay me for the day of work I missed. I asked him to leave and will never contact this less than professional company again!

Being new to Sanford, we didn't have a 'go to' appliance repair specialist so we found Doug Cormack at Major Appliance Repair and had him out to take a look at our leaking dishwasher. From the very beginning, the office staff was responsive and helpful, their response was quick and the first appointment was scheduled quickly. Doug was knowledgeable and professional, he diagnosed and explained our issue fast, and fixed it promptly for the best price we could find in the area. We now have our 'go to' appliance repair specialist. If there was a 6th star, Major Appliance would get it.
