Maine Feldenkrais & Physical

I am so pleased with the results of my 3+ months of doing physical therapy at Maine Feldenkrais. I went there to deal with pain resulting from back surgery as well as chronic lower back pain. Christina Schicker was my therapist and she was marvelous. I am 76 years old and Christina was so patient with me. She helped me to get from a place of feeling like I couldn't do much, and was too weak to be able to do much of an exercise routine, to the place where I am now. And what is that? I am amazed at how much stronger I have become and how much easier it is to stand up straight. I no longer have pain from the back injury and my chronic lower back pain is minimal and much more manageable now. Christina slowly worked me into an exercise routine that was custom tailored for me, and that I am now able to continue long-term on my own. I don't want to give up these exercises because I am delighted with the changes in my body and I want to continue with this feeling of being able to do so much more. I am stronger and much more agile. I was so impressed with Christina's knowledge of the body and what was going on. I feel so much more hope for the future as I enter the latter part of my 70's decade and I feel encouraged that I can continue to keep up this new level of physical well-being. Dan, Casey, and Jen create a little world of its own. Walk in and experience warm, professional, caring therapy, unlike any other Physical therapy I have known. Casey and Dan got my life jump started once again.nHigh fives; Namaste; and thumbs up to you all. Could not have achieved where I am without them.
