I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE! The staff are fantastic: always friendly, helpful, professional and super-accommodating. Most of them have been there for years and really get the economic and environmental reasons for recycling. The hours are user-friendly, the prices (annual and weekly stickers and special items like appliances) are bargains, the site is kept spotless, the traffic flow is smart and the list of accepted materials is huge--I LOVE being able to drop off everything from fluorescent lamps to C&D waste, and now that they've teamed up with Garbage to Garden to offer compost dropoff, my waste world is complete. Makes me proud to be a part-time Mainer.

People are nice, but the place is kind of a dump.
