I've been going here for years. Even when I moved out of the area and had to try other salons it was nothing compared to this place. I don't care how far I have to drive to go here. The talent and the environment of this place is beyond any other. Better than any place I had to pay for a level 5 for 500 hundred dollars for a cut an color that was so messed up. When I can get a better experience and hair stylist with 100 times the technique and color/cut than anywhere else. Thousand stars!

Anita, the owner, had an amazing gift with hair. Her calm, confident manor in style and advice is priceless. Affordable? Absolutely! So many salons closer to me, yet the 30 minute drive is well worth it.

BEWARE OF UNTRUE BAD REVIEWS! I have been so pleased with all services I’ve had at Tangles. The staff is top-notch, better than many high-end salons I’ve been to in Portland - and a much better price point. I have never had a bad experience, have always been more than satisfied with the results, and highly recommend!

after going back for a 3rd time in the hopes that she would fix what she did to my hair i had reached the conclusion that the owner (anita) is completely incompetent at cutting hair. after reading these reviews i can only conclude that she isn't incompetent; worse she's petty and unprofessional. i not only told her exactly what i wanted and more importantly what i didn't i also showed her a picture. she said she thinks it looks good the way it is; i said it doesn't matter what she thinks; it matters what i think. apparently she was offended. there are no words to describe how devastated i was when i got home and had the opportunity to really see what she had done. i believe the pictures speak for themselves. unbelievably unprofessional and doesn't deserve your business.

Casey cut my hair and it came out absolutely perfect. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and Casey nailed it. Great cut, very clean and good conversation. I’ve tried four other salons before going here and my hair always got cut crooked. You won’t be disappointed with Casey.
