Athletico Physical Therapy - Joliet

The staff there is amazing from the therapist to the assistants. Both my daughter and I got treated there. Nate worked mostly with my daughter and she loved it. Matt Miskas was amazing, he treated me with dry needling. I would highly recommend this place for any therapy needs. The staff prepared so well to be able to continue our treatment at home. They all took the time to get to know us and our needs. I would definitely go back to get a treatment of dry needling. Having no pain is amazing. Thank you for all you guys did.

I am a physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist myself and was fortunate to get connected with Matt here at the Joliet Athletico. He was able to accomplish what no other physical therapist I saw was able to (even my PT teachers). Matt not only helped me bounce back from these injuries, but improved my shoulder performance to a level it had never been. Matt has some of the best manual therapy skills I’ve seen and he has more than earned my stamp of approval. I came to Athletico from a firm recommendation made by my Dr. When I asked him “ Do you have a solid recommendation on somewhere I can go or someone I can see? I’ve been fighting chronic pain since my first shoulder injury in 2013 and I’ve been to the ‘ATI’s’ of the world”nnHe instantly said “Go see Matt Mickas at Athletico”. Since I’ve seen Matt (approx 1 month so far) my pain levels have dramatically decreased. Every time I have a question about why something may be hurting or what the source could be, he never has to guess. That’s because he is armed with the proper knowledge on how to take care of people. On top of that, he truly does care each and everyone of this clinics patients and their progress.nnWhen he is working with me, he stays engaged but still hears everything that’s going on around him. I dunno, people like this are just truly hard to find. And when you’re in real pain and can’t hold your 9 month old daughter, this is the guy you want in your corner.nnI would like to add. Although Matt really is the super hero I just made him sound like, there is no way it can be done the way without a real team of professionals around him. They all work REALLY good together. The best part about this place (to me) is that even when my schedule conflicts with Matt’s, he sets me up with some equally as awesome and caring (cough, cough JULIE) You truly don’t lose the quality of care, just because he is not available. I’ve also been fortunate enough to see Julie. She’s amazing! She seems to have all the answers too! It’s just nice to feel taken care of and feel confident that you’re in the right hands when dealing with your health. He cares that ALL of his patients get taken care of. I guess what I am saying is, this place is legit. If you want real knowledge and have the best chance at recovering from whatever physical hurdle you may be dealing with, I highly recommend them.
