My daughter was getting box braids for the very first time. Nike was patient and professional and kind! She answered all my questions, made us feel at home. Super quick, super clean braids. Her other stylist did corn rows on my son. This was also his first time. She was extremely patient during my sons breakdown. He moved the whole time along with crying and some screaming and she calmly continued braiding his hair! True professional! We will go there again ( maybe not my son)! Oh and best part...she has Netflix! Thank u both for an easy and friendly experience.

I recommend Nike! She is adaptable to your needs, a great conversationalist, takes pride in her work, and most importantly talented. She is considerate of keeping your real hair healthy and the braids. She does not braid tight. She does not braid your edges tight. But you must wash your own hair, otherwise pay extra. Ask if you can bring lunch or order because I got hungry. She has been the most professional, caring, and talented stylists I have been too in my life. This was my first time getting box braids, naturally, I was skeptical, a bit lost, and nervous. She is a no BS hairstylist and lets you know in detail about your options and specifically what she is going to be doing. She is clearly knowledgeable about what she does and made me feel comfortable. She cares a lot about her clients and she went above and beyond when it came to my service. The parts are very neat on the braids.nnThings to consider:nMake sure to be very clear on the length, style, and amount of hair you want left out. I go for more natural looks, so if that is you, specify exactly what you want. The braids are heavy and tight for the first two days or so, especially if you’re not used to a lot of hair. I have had them a few weeks now, can barely feel them. This is definitely a learning process for those who are just getting braids so do not be discouraged if you do not know your style yet or it comes out a bit different, Nike will help you and tell you what to do! Also, she is priced reasonably compared to those in the area. I do not give out a lot of 5 stars,...I am a perfectionist and highly concerned with cosmetic things I get done. SO YES, check her out. Especially if this is your first time. Her attitude and talent makes it all worth it.

I have been getting my hair serviced by Nike for a little over two years. She was the first person to do ever do box braids on my hair and I absolutely loved it. I was initially very apprehensive but her skill and attention detail turned me into a loyal customer. And outside of her talent, I appreciate her being forthcoming and telling me when I need to give certain styles a break while recommending other styles that would be more conducive to hair growth and strengthening.
