Small family jewelry store, HUGE HEART for customers!nMy son inherited a +70 year lion ring from his 102 year old great aunt that belonged to his grandfather, Leo. The lion ring, worn to the point of cracks and a misshapen face was a beloved ring and inheritance. I knew of only one jeweler who had the expertise to perhaps refresh the ring, Azar Jewelers of South Barrington. I handed the ring to Peter, the owner, who looked at the ring as I told its heartfelt story and its meaning to my son. Peter said he truly understood the sentiment, he too had an inheritance, a letter from his dad that was priceless to him. Peter took the ring and said he would try a unique laser process to rebuild the ring without loosing its essence; the ring would retain its history, its substance, its meaning. I picked up the ring today, and cried upon seeing it. The ring had been restored to its original glory. Peter is a jeweler for the joy, love and sentiment that a piece of beloved jewelry evokes in its owner. That is Azar Jewelers. Just fine. Went in for a Promise Ring with my Latino girlfriend and it didn't feel judgemental. I would consider buying my engagement ring and wedding band there as it wasn't over the top pressure sales or anything of the sort. Thanks for that you guy's!

I have worked with Azar Jewelers - the South Barrington location on a few custom pieces. Peter, the owner, was extremely helpful in educating me on the process of making a custom piece and working with me on picking the perfect stone and design for my ring. I am so happy with my new ring. It is stunning!!! I am excited to have found a local jeweler that I can trust and refer my family and friends to. Went in for a last minute engraving needed for a retirement gift at work. I didn't even buy the watch from them although they had a nice selection. I let them know I needed it back this week (only gave them barely 4 days) and they called me within 36 hours to let me know the work was completed! I was so blown away with their urgency in follow up AND helping me out with a very short time frame. The service was great! The store is very clean and the cases are full of beautiful options. You should check them out. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

Very friendly and helpful service. I need watch batteries replaced for 3 watches. Their price was reasonable and they were able to do it quickly. I appreciate good service at a good price and I will be back when I need to purchase jewelry.
