We visited Galena for an overnight stay. The hotel was as described online. We did not utilize the pool or spa, but the fireplace and hot tub in our room were perfect. The service was excellent and the bag breakfast was filling. We would visit again and/or recommend it to others.
Frankie was so helpful! He went out of his way to make our stay was 10 stars if that was an option. Caitlyn came after shift change and then again provided another 10 star service! They went above and beyond what most places I have stayed at have!
This was a terrible experience. My girlfriend asked me to write this for her after she stayed with her friends at this hotel for a girls night:nnThe cleaning staff is disappointing and dishonest. My GF left her silver necklace behind after checkout. She had left it on the bathroom counter and called only an hour after checkout to make sure they set it aside. All her friends and her had seen it there before leaving but completely forgot to grab it. Instead the hotel specified it was no where to be found. The manager did not seem at fault but it is sad that they hire workers who lie and steal. Ultimately it is a guest’s responsibility to make sure that they account for all their belongings before leaving but to know that people can be so dishonest is very disappointing. So moral of the story, if you leave valuable jewelry behind here, don’t expect to ever get it back.
No complaints, great stay. Close to Main Street - overall great town. Hot tub was definitely a must
If you are going to stay here BRING YOUR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES and rubber gloves!!!! Upon our arrival our room was FILTHY!!! Hair in the Jacuzzi, gobs of black hair(I'm blonde) stuck in the blow dryer, everything was so dusty, there were hand prints on the iron head board on the bed from the previous guest grabbing onto it I'm guessing, large yellow stain on the bed skirt as if someone peed on it, broken blinds with sticky stuff all over them, kids running up and down the halls alllll night long. Spending the first 3hrs of a weekend getaway cleaning and scrubbing a hotel room was not in my plans, management definitely needs to start checking the rooms. Will not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone!!!!
