The home is beautiful full of old charm and just an all over cozy feel but the best part is the host Van, he is kind and gracious and takes pride in his home. Not to mention the amazing breakfasts. We felt so welcomed.
Beautiful Victorian B&B in Galena. Short walk to main street Galena and close to major attractions like wineries, Eagle Ridge and Chestnut Mountain. Van, the host, top chef, gardener and clean up man, is one of a kind. His breakfast is as huge as his spirit and sense of humor!! Go and meet him and his beautiful home!
Van provided a fantastic experience for us on our quick trip through Galena. He says he is not a chef by trade but my wife and I were blown away with his breakfast. Great service and great conversation. If you need a place to stay then this is certainly the first place I would recommend you check out!
The owner (Van) is an amazing host! The house is tucked away in a quaint little neighborhood. We were delighted to find out there is a footbridge across the street that takes you right to the top of main Street so there are no parking issues! This place is the gem of Galena!
Van is a personable host and is eager to make your stay pleasant and is very accommodating. After a full day of shopping and seeing the sites was very peaceful and refreshing to sit on the screened in porch and sip wine and relax. Breakfast was great and very filling. nice to chat with other guests and Van himself. Would definitely recommend the Queen Anne Guest house.
