Had the absolute BEST stay at Felt Manor this past weekend!nnFirst of all, I have to mention the food because it was AMAZING! The attention to detail and overall quality and taste was the best I’ve ever had, not only at a B&B, but breakfast ever.nnThe location was perfect to have a view of beautiful Galena and still be walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops.nnFinally, I have to mention that Alex and Geoff are the sweetest, most hospitable hosts EVER! Trust me, if you need anything at all they will be happy to help!nnWe will absolutely be back! Thanks for everything!
Planning our next stay as we speak! Alex and Geoff definitely made us feel at home. I looked forward to breakfast and happy hour each day we were there! The food is to die for❤ Recommending this place to all family and friends of ours! The rooms at The Inn at Felt Manor are beautiful and well kept. Our room was clean and the service was a 10/10! First trip to Galena and definitely won't be out last!
I stayed here in August of 2020. Needless to say, anxieties were high all around the United States. Staying here, felt so right, so clean, and so nice.nnMy fiancé and I had actually been staying in our friends’ place for two days prior in Galena, but as a small business owner, I wanted to support someone in the hospitality industry. I’m glad I picked Felt Manor!nnThe innkeepers are so nice, hospitable, and great chefs! You must stay here!
The most wonderful, accommodating bed and breakfast. Alex and Geoff made us feel right at home as soon as we entered their doors. My boyfriend let them know I was vegan in advance and wow I was amazed how they went above and beyond for me. I was given dairy free yogurt, granola, tofu scramble, gingerbread waffles and vegan sausage. I’m so grateful for their understanding and accommodations to my veganism. Never have I been served with such kindness and attention to detail. Everything tasted incredible! I will be remembering this trip forever and will continue to give the best reviews and can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Alex and Geoff!
The home has been perfectly preserved. Alex and Geoff did a great job making us feel at home. We arrived in time for happy hour and enjoyed some great wine, delicious finger foods and sweet treats. Breakfast was divine, Eggs Benedict and malt waffles were better than anywhere we have eaten. Enjoy the sprawling views of the valley from the front porch with a cup of coffee. Main Street is easily accessible by foot, just a couple blocks away. When staying in Galena it is important to immerse yourself in the rich history of the town and this place does just that.
