I loved the Lamberson Guest House, I highly recommend it, and I hope I can return soon. We went for a winter weekend getaway. This was everything we could desire in a B&B, and more. Beautiful home, beautifully and tastefully restored. The view of Galena from our windows was amazing. Our room was large, the bathroom was marvelous. Michelle, the innkeeper, is so warm, generous and charming and gave us great advice on restaurants, shops and things to do. And her breakfasts were incredibly good! Wonderful baking; creative takes on breakfast traditions, perfectly executed. When we go back to Galena we will definitely stay here again.

Lamberson is extremely clean, comfortable and Michelle is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Only she provides a better breakfast.

I was here during historic home walk through of 2019... gorgeous!! Great facts about the old home and previous owners. Great remodel of kitchen/back porch to be more efficient!! What a beautiful dining room...loved the wood work!! Beautiful stained glass lights and features. I'm sure it is a great B&B, has an excellent view of town, especially in winter!!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Lamberson House in Galena this last weekend. It was our second time staying at this Bed and Breakfast and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Galena. Michelle is the perfect hostess, the home was beautifully decorated for the holidays, our room was lovely and spotless. A delicious breakfast was served each day - why would we go anywhere else?!

I have not stayed in a bed and breakfast for over three decades till now. I was not disappointed with Lamberson Guest House! From my first conversation with the innkeeper, Michelle, I knew my husband and I would love this place... and we do! We are on our second of three nights and it is even better than I hoped it would be! Michelle makes you feel like you’re a friend, is comfortable to be around, generous, a hard worker, organized, helpful and so dang sweet! We have never been to this area and Michelle referred us to the best restaurants and activities. The Lamberson Guest House is gorgeous, clean and has all the amenities you need. And the food- oh my goodness!!! Five stars! We had the best and most unique breakfasts ever! So delicious! I know there’s a lot of other bed and breakfasts out there, but after staying here, we agreed there is no place else we’d rather stay if and when we come back to Galena. Thanks, Michelle!
