My wife booked a flying lesson for me at Northwest Flyers. We flew with Johan who was an outstanding instructor. He answered all our questions and helped me learn the basics during the flight. He handled takeoff and landing very smoothly even with the winds. I would highly recommend flying with Johan for your flight lesson.

First introductory flight here. I learned a lot and my instructor (Austen) was super nice. It was pretty scary since it was my first time and there was a bit of turbnulence, but I’m looking forward to my next flight already!

It's ok, they pull you in with a Groupon. And that's fine because I always look for introductory flights that are economical, to try out the school and airport. The airplanes are old and beaters, the Piper is from 1984 and is disgusting. One of the rudder pedals had a zip tie wrapped around it to hold it together. When I was there every single person was doing a first flight from Groupon I did not see any students. My pilot Johan was good. I wanted to walk around the aircraft and go over the checklist, and he said he already did it. If I was to pursue my pilot's license it surely would not be here.
