Local FBO and flight school with a great restaurant upstairs. You can also come by and watch operating planes and helicopters land/take off from the restaurant, lounge and parking lot near the ramp/taxiway
I flew into Schaumburg airport in late May for my daughter's graduation. They were very accommodating , allowing me to tie up my plane for over a month for a minimal fee. Special thanks to Donna Mays the airport mgr for receiving my new battery to her office awaiting my arrival. Ronald the resident mechanic generously assisted me with the removal / disposal of the old battery and the installation of the new battery.
Really nice people. I called up the phone number to ask if I could do a quick photo shoot with the planes and my car, and the lady was really nice and said sure go ahead!!! Such a gorgeous place and really nice employees. Would love to come over and do couple more shots if I will be allowed to do it again. But I will call again before proceeding. Thank you very much!!!!
The staff here were wonderful. They were very informative, and one of the ladies asked if I wanted to look inside one of the planes. I gladly accepted!
