I had an issue recently where I needed to contact the department for help. All three of the officers I spoke with as well as the woman at the window were very friendly and helpful. I feel good knowing these are the people taking care of our town.
My pregnant wife got rear ended on Franklin ave and Mannheim. The police officer that showed up and wrote an inaccurate report and did not even ticket the other driver. We had to pay a fee to get a copy of the report online just to find so many errors. We called, went in person to the station and emailed the officer multiple times with no response. The report needed to be fixed since it pretty much stated that car A hit car A. Which obviously makes no sense. In all franklin park police need to be sent back to school to learn basic communication skills. I lived and grew up in Franklin park my whole life but I'm sure glad I got out of there.
Called them last night for a violent incident and they were more concerned with id everyone looking for warrants. Stormed through my house and treated me w disrespect like I’m not an honest taxpayer. They left without a solution to the reason I called them in the first place.nDef pushes me to hurry and sell my home and move to another city. I do not trust them.nThey are always pulling people over in front of my house. I feel like they are mostly young and inexperienced. I’m sorry but you do not pay for my house. Please don’t walk in it like you do.nNever will call them again
Never have I experienced such rudeness from a secretary. I had called days prior to coming in for documents and never got an answer. At the office the secretary was so rude, not answering questions, rolling her eyes, and telling me the information was incorrect when it was absolutely not! I can’t believe how inefficient and poorly this station is run!
I went there today to file a police report and the young man that helped me was very attentive and made sure I did what was right for me. I'm grateful I had this experience and I'm not sure why so many people talk trash about the Franklin Park Police Department.
